AxePoint Law was founded in 2016 by Attorney Emil Ovbiagele with a bold vision: to change how clients experience legal services—through trust, dedication, and authenticity. Originally named OVB Law & Consulting, the firm was a tribute to Emil’s late father, Dr. Victor Ovbiagele—a man whose integrity and compassion continue to inspire the firm’s values and purpose.
In its first year, Attorney Samantha H. Baker joined the mission, and together, they grew a small practice into a powerhouse known for sharp strategy and unwavering advocacy. The firm became AxePoint Law in 2025, marking a major expansion with the addition of Attorney Ryan L. Woody, a national leader in insurance litigation. With his team and expertise, AxePoint deepened its capabilities and broadened its national reach.
